PRN Pharmacist

With over 1,400 team members, we care for more than 100,000 people across all 50 states. Responsibilities Ensuring clinical accuracy and execution of patient prescriptions. Verification of hard copy and digital Rx's. Communication with healthcare professionals and making sure that the Dr. call line is answered. Supervision and execution of incoming and outgoing prescription transfers. Perform DUR to identify MTM eligible patients and identify clinical intervention per patient with follow up. Ensure all legal, privacy and compliance requirements are met. Embody AnewHealth's Core Values in all communications and interactions. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD), required. Must hold a current Pharmacist license in the State of Texas. Required: Prior Pharmacist experience, closed-door/production pharmacy preferred. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling medications, operating equipment, and using computer systems. Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity to read prescription labels, reports, and computer screens accurately. May require bending, reaching, and repetitive motions during production activities. Schedule This is a part-time as-needed position with an expectation to be available inside and outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
