Job Title: Quality Engineer 4 Position’s Contributions to Work Group: Facilitate and develop new elements of APQP including process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagrams Reason/motivation for request: Additional roles, new to the organization to focus on capital investment and risk mitigation for large engine investments Typical Day or Week in the Role Typical task breakdown and rhythm Interaction level with team Work environment description Typical task breakdown: Weekly staff and prioritization meetings Facilitate the development of APQP documentation including, but not limited to process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagrams Support and tracking of recommended action from the process FMEAs Independent scheduling and leading APQP readiness meetings with manufacturing engineering teams Review and /or develop process capability studies, measurement systems analysis Create final production part approval documentation (PPAP) Formal documentation and presentation at stakeholder updates Interaction with team: Work with many departments to ensure each new capital program is properly supported for every aspect of quality readiness. Including metallurgical testing, metrology equipment, CMM programming, validation results.
