Title: Assistant ChefLocation: Upper East SideOrg Unit: Griffis Faculty ClubWork Days: Weekdays and some weekendsWeekly Hours: 35.00Exemption Status: Non-ExemptSalary Range: $22.69 - $25.33As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired forNYC OfficesPosition SummaryUnder direct supervision, assists in preparing all necessary foods required for lunch, dinner and banquet serviceJob Responsibilities+ Ensures the proper set up and maintenance of prep area stations assigned to.+ Labels, rotates and stores food products prepared.+ Troubleshoots customer service or food preparation issues and escalates as needed.+ Ensures that facilities and equipment are in optimal and proper working condition. Coordinates preventative maintenance and repairs as needed. May perform minor repairs if qualified and as needed.
