Platform Technical Program ManagerEngineering / Platform | Senior IC | Hybrid/AustinRole SummaryWe are looking for a Platform Technical Program Manager to lead the planning and delivery oflarge-scale platform engineering initiatives. You will focus on platform capabilities, developerexperience, and engineering enablement — partnering closely with product, engineering, andarchitecture teams to ensure platform programs are delivered on time and adopted effectivelyacross the organization.What You Will Do• Own platform program delivery end to end: Lead planning, scoping, and execution of multi-quarter platform programs spanning developer tooling, API platforms, data platforms, andengineering enablement domains.• Drive cross-functional alignment: Coordinate across platform engineering, product, security,architecture, and operations teams to resolve dependencies, eliminate blockers, and maintaindelivery momentum.• Define technical requirements with Product and Engineering: Partner with Product andEngineering teams to translate business goals into well-defined technical requirements, ensuringclarity of scope, feasibility, and alignment before programs enter execution.• Manage risk and escalation: Proactively identify technical risks, capacity constraints, andarchitectural gaps — escalating to leadership with clear context and recommended pathsforward.• Report to executive stakeholders: Prepare and deliver concise program status updates,milestone reviews, and investment briefings for VP and C-suite audiences.• Improve platform engineering processes: Define and evolve program operating rhythms —sprint ceremonies, roadmap reviews, architecture reviews, and release governance frameworks.• Enable platform adoption across teams: Work with engineering and product stakeholders todrive awareness, onboarding, and adoption of platform capabilities across consuming teams andbusiness units.What We Are Looking ForRequired Qualifications Preferred Qualifications• 6+ years in technical program or projectmanagement• Experience managing platform ordeveloper tooling programs• Proven ability to manage multipleconcurrent workstreams• Strong executive communication andstakeholder management skills• Familiarity with agile deliverymethodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)• Background in software engineering orsolutions architecture• Experience with API platforms, dataplatforms, or developer portals• PMP, SAFe, or equivalent programmanagement certification• Exposure to compliance-driven delivery(SOC 2, ISO 27001)• Experience driving platform adoption acrosslarge engineering organizations
