DevOps Engineer III

Overview In this Senior Consultant role, you design and optimize cloud, automation, and platform engineering solutions to accelerate delivery and improve reliability for client environments. You will work across client teams and Deloitte groups to define target DevOps operating models and implement pipelines and automation. The role blends hands-on delivery with customer-facing guidance and documentation to drive software delivery performance. You will shape deployment practices, reliability, and security at scale, contributing to project milestones and standards. ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support DevOps pipelines, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD across client environmentsCollaborate with clients and Deloitte teams to assess current-state processes and define target-state DevOps models, tooling, and workflowsBuild and maintain cloud infrastructure, platform services, and deployment automation using IaC and configuration managementMonitor performance, identify issues, and improve reliability, scalability, security, and release qualityContribute to project deliverables, documentation, environment standards, and implementation plans; support client discussions and milestones Key requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure automation6+ years of experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)4+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines4+ years of experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM)4+ years of experience with container platforms and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Ability to travel 50%Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipIndependent work ethic and collaborationEffective written and verbal communicationAttention to detail and qualityAWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platformsCI/CD pipeline development and maintenanceInfrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
