At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.Excelitas is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team of leaders and innovators!The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business and recapturing lost reoccurring sales by prospecting, qualifyng leads, conducting sales presentations, and closing opportunities through phone calls, emails and online meetings. The role owns an individual sales budget and operates independently from Field Sales with defined handoff rules.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and qualify opportunities though outbound calls, emails, and other sales tools, leveraging internal data sources such as historical sales records, lost-customer analysis, and service/RMA information, as well as external reserarch tools.Present product offerings and defined system solutions across MW, EIR, and ED product lines, tailoring solutions based on customer needs in collaboration with Technical Service and, where appropriate Field Sales.Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized pipeline of leads and opportunities, ensuring timely follow-ups and moving prospects through the sales funnel.Customer Engagement: Build rapport with prospects and customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.Sales Closures: Closes sales deals by negotiating terms and conditions, finalizing agreements, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the solution provided. Work with the sales team and other departments to ensure a smooth transition of new clients and deliver customer expectations.Regularly update CRM systems, (e.g. Salesforce, CRM) and supporting commercial systems to track sales activities, and manage customer information, and ensure accurate pipeline and reporting data.Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, demonstrating the ability to meet quotas and drive revenue growth.Stay up to date in industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, using internal data and external research tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, trade associations) to uncover new business opportunities.Key Skills & QualificationsProven experience in inside sales, tele-sales, or customer service, with a strong sales-driven attitudeExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage customers effectivelyAbility to understand customer needs and present appropriate solutions to meet their goalsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clientsHigh level of motivation and goal orientation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and generating leads from scratchFamiliarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement toolsStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at onceAbility to handle rejection and stay persistent in driving sales effortsA customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering a high level of servicePreferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-2 years of experience.
