Job Title: Low Voltage/Technical Product ManagerLocation: Washington, DC (Hybrid/Remote)Position Type: Full-time, Direct HireSalary Range: $120-150,000 (negotiable based on experience) + 15% bonusSummary:The Low Voltage/Technical Product Manager will lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of infrastructure solutions across structured cabling, fiber optics, and low-voltage lighting systems. This individual will serve as a technical and strategic leader, driving vendor partnerships, supporting go-to-market initiatives, and aligning product offerings with evolving customer and industry demands across enterprise, healthcare, education, federal, and data center environments.Responsibilities:• Define and execute product roadmap for: Structured cabling infrastructure (copper & fiber) and Low-voltage lighting systems.• Evaluate emerging technologies and align offerings with market demand and customer verticals (Data Center, Enterprise, Healthcare, Education, Federal, etc.).• Develop go-to-market strategies for new infrastructure solutions.• Manage strategic relationships with: Belden, Leviton, CommScope, and Corning.• Negotiate product positioning, certifications, rebates, and partner program tiers.• Lead technical alignment meetings with manufacturers.• Coordinate product training and technical certifications.• Provide subject matter expertise in: Structured cabling design (Cat6a, Cat8, fiber backbone, OSP, etc.), Fiber optic infrastructure (single-mode, multi-mode, termination, testing), and Low-voltage lighting distribution.• Support pre-sales engineering with solution design, BOM validation, and standards compliance.• Ensure solutions meet BICSI, NEC, and industry standards.Qualifications:• 7+ years of experience in low-voltage infrastructure, structured cabling, or systems integration.• Direct experience working with manufacturers such as: Belden, CommScope, and/or Corning.• Preference with experience in: Copper and fiber structured cabling systems and Low-voltage lighting systems.• Experience supporting design-build or large-scale infrastructure projects.• Understanding of NEC, TIA/EIA standards, and BICSI best practices.• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a technical environment.• RCDD or equivalent certification preferred.
