A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Med Surg/n/nJob Details:/n• Work on 16-bed medical/surgical unit caring for med/surg and COVID+ patients/n• Patient ratio maximum 6:1 with ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time required/n• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3-4 RNs, 1 PCA/n• Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 1 PCA/n• Rotating weekends as needed for travel RNs/n• Use Meditech EMR system with standard equipment/n• 1+ years acute med/surg experience within the last year required/n• 2+ years acute med/surg experience within the last year preferred/n• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration/n• Maintain communication with all members of care team and complete documentation in EHR/n• Float to other med/surg units as needed/n• RN license required/n• Scrubs dress code/n• Must demonstrate friendly, positive, patient-centered, team-focused personality/n/nFacility:/nThis medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides acute care services with a focus on medical and surgical patient populations.
