You’ll operate across a diverse range of technologies in every layer of our “data stack” to make that mission a reality.What You Will DoDeliver a world-class data platform, converging disparate sources into a singular analytics solutionOwn and evolve the architecture of data models, pipelines, and platform components supporting business needs and future scalabilityPlan and delegate complex projects with broad scopeMentor and grow early career developers or engineers transitioning into Data Engineering from other domainsFacilitate technical discussions, guiding the team toward the most effective approaches to problem solvingPartner with BI Analysts and engage with internal stakeholders across the business to cultivate data products that align with current and future needsWrite performant, readable, reusable, and tested codeReview code to ensure a high standard of technical quality across our data codebasesWhat You Need To Succeed6+ years experience as a data engineer, analytics engineer, ETL developer, or software engineer with deep data focus3+ years experience building and maintaining an enterprise-scale data lake and/or data warehouse2+ years experience building and maintaining data transformation projects in dbtExpert in data modeling, version-controlled dbt development, automated testing, and CI/CDStrong collaborative and communication skills to work with a variety of stakeholdersMastery of ANSI SQL and data modeling best practicesDeep experience with modern cloud data warehousing and orchestration systemsStrong experience working with cloud based data infrastructure, primarily in AWSExpertise in PythonWhat Helps You Stand OutDirect experience with Snowflake, Apache Airflow, AWS, TerraformExperience migrating to Snowflake from other data warehousesDemonstrated experience designing and implementing modern data architectures, design patterns, and data management including medallion architecture, data lakehouse, and data meshSome experience with one or more BI Analytics tools, especially, Sigma and/or PowerBIEffective use of AI assistive tooling and agents to optimize productivity and accuracyPrior experience in Healthcare or another highly regulated industry like FinanceWe are committed to building a diverse team of Datavanters who are all responsible for stewarding a high-performance culture in which all Datavanters belong and thrive.
