Construction Project Manager II (Environmental Construction)Earth Systems Response & RestorationFull-Time | Hybrid (Texas-Based) | High TravelLocation: Texas (Remote with required travel to Austin or Midland as needed)Travel: High (Field-based project travel across Texas and surrounding regions)Position OverviewEarth Systems Response & Restoration, an environmental consulting and remediation firm, is seeking a Construction Project Manager II to support and advance field execution of environmental remediation and environmental construction projects.This role is a mid-level field and project execution position with increased responsibility in field coordination, crew oversight, and execution of remediation activities, while continuing to operate within a consulting-driven project structure. Work is performed in alignment with engineering design, regulatory requirements, and client objectives.The Construction PM II works closely with project managers, engineers, and operations leadership to support successful project delivery across active sites.This is a hybrid role with remote flexibility when not in the field; however, it requires frequent travel to project sites and the ability to report to Austin or Midland offices as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesEnvironmental Construction ExecutionSupport and independently manage portions of environmental remediation and construction projectsOversee excavation, soil management, containment systems, and site restoration activitiesImplement remedial action plans and remediation system installations in accordance with engineering designField Coordination & OversightProvide day-to-day direction to field personnel including technicians, operators, and subcontractorsCoordinate equipment, materials, and workforce scheduling to support project executionMonitor field productivity, site progress, and work qualityIdentify and communicate field issues, constraints, and solutions to project managersEnvironmental ComplianceEnsure field activities align with regulatory requirements, permits, and project specificationsMaintain accurate field documentation, daily reports, and project recordsSupport environmental monitoring, soil management, and waste handling activitiesSafetyLead or support daily safety meetings, JSAs, and hazard assessmentsEnforce OSHA safety standards and HAZWOPER requirements in the fieldPromote safe work practices and ensure proper PPE use across all site activitiesQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, Geology, or related field OR equivalent combination of field experience and demonstrated project responsibility in environmental remediation or construction5-8 years of experience in environmental remediation, environmental construction, or environmental consulting field operationsExperience providing direction or oversight to field crews and subcontractorsAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and remediation plansStrong field coordination, communication, and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to travel frequently and work in field environmentsPreferred / BonusOSHA 30 Certification40-Hour HAZWOPER CertificationExperience with groundwater remediation systems (e.g., SVE, air sparging, treatment systems)Experience working within an environmental consulting or remediation services firmWork Environment & Physical DemandsThis role includes both field work and limited administrative responsibilities.
