A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 academic year in a K-12 public school setting located in Vail, Oregon (zip code 97918). This contract position spans a full semester and provides the chance to work directly on-site with students while delivering essential speech-language services.
There are two openings for SLPs and one opening for an SLPA. The SLP role involves a caseload of 25-30 students across grades K-12, with responsibilities that include supervising SLPA staff. The SLPA position focuses on a caseload within grades K-6 and involves early intervention services, including supervision of two SLPA colleagues. Full-time hours are offered, up to 40 hours per week, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with shorter hours on Friday.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP credentials such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Experience providing speech-language services in school settings
Ability to supervise SLPA staff effectively
Knowledge of early intervention practices preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing speech-language therapy to assigned caseloads
Collaborating with educators and school personnel
Supervising and supporting SLPA staff
Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations
