Additionally, Attain Sports is an owner of the United Soccer League (USL) Championship Club Loudoun United FC.Start Date: April/May 2026End Date: September 2026 (school schedule permitting)Compensation: Unpaid; College CreditJob DescriptionThe Frederick Keys Gameday Promotional Team is a part-time internship designed only for current university students who will be receiving college credit for participation in this internship. The Gameday and Promotions Intern will be gaining real-world experience with responsibilities within the organization. They will receive the opportunity to work with an experienced marketing team, build a strong professional network, and create a memorable game experience for all fans.General ResponsibilitiesEngage with fans and improve fan experience in real-time based on feedbackLearn and improve customer service skills in a sports environmentGain knowledge and familiarity in planning and executing fan experience and fan touch pointsWork Frederick Keys home games as directed by the Senior Marketing and Gameday ManagerSpend time shadowing and learning from top-tier marketing and press box staff, as directed by the Senior Marketing and Gameday ManagerAssist with the execution of outside events such as Scout Night and Baseball CampRepresent the organization, as needed, at outside events and appearancesRepresent the organization, as needed, as our mascot KeyoteAs part of a group, pitch an improvement or addition for a current theme night. If chosen, adhere to a timeline, assist with creation of a game script, and execute a show in house.All other duties assigned by Senior Marketing and Gameday Manager and General Manager of the KeysGame Day ResponsibilitiesExecute pre-game, in-game, and post-game promotionsHelp raise money for the Keys Care charity via 50-50 raffle and Wheel of FunAssist with social media coverage of Frederick Keys home gamesWork as a handler of our mascot Keyote to ensure he makes his marks and cuesEngage with fans and ensure top customer service throughout the stadiumAssist with the coordination and execution of theme nightsWork in all aspects of minor league baseball to gain an understanding of the businessWork with ushers and Keyote to encourage fan interest and excitement in the game during key momentsAssist with organization and execution of Kids Run the Bases after every home gameAssist with gate entry and exit giveaways, as neededQualificationsCollege sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students working for academic credit in Sport Management, Marketing, Communication, or BusinessAbility to work event nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredA customer service background is preferredAbility to uphold company and Attain customer service standardsIndividual must be energetic, enthusiastic, and a dedicated team playerExcellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and eager to contribute to an exciting game day atmosphereCreative and enthusiastic with fresh ideas on how to enhance the fan experienceAttain Sports is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
