As a stable,privately owned company with 50–100 employees, we continue to grow while maintaining acollaborative, hands-on culture where every team member makes a real impact.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Account Payable Clerk to join operations in our Brighton,Michigan facility. In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee the AP accounting activitiesusing our Plex ERP system. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail-orientedaccounting professional who thrives in a small, privately owned manufacturing environmentand wants to see the direct results of their work.Key Responsibilities• Processes payables into accounting system.• Communicates with vendors regarding status of payables and open issues.• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date• Maintains 1099.• Monthly reconciliation to GL accounts• Prepare month end AP journal entries• Ensure and build vendor relationships.• Maintain intercompany billings and receivable charges and payment application.• Completing check runs.• Running aging reports.• New vendor setup and management of paperwork such as W-9.• Performing credit reference.• Following company bill plan.• Assisting corporate controller with special projects.• Answering the phones• Any tasks deemed appropriate by the corporate controller.Qualifications & Skills• 4+ years of progressive accounts payable experience.• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and with companies of comparablesize (roughly 50–150 employees) is strongly preferred.• Hands-on experience with Plex ERP (or similar manufacturing systems such as Epicor orSAP) is a significant plus.• Familiarity with payroll processing and some tax knowledge is beneficial.• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrivein a small-team, multi-hat environment.Why Join Tube Wright Inc.If you're ready to take on a challenge, grow your career, and make a meaningful impact, TWIoffers the environment for you to thrive.
