Hawaii Shoulder & Orthopedic Institute is seeking a motivated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to work closely with our orthopedic surgeon in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. Position Details: Rate: $70?$90 per hour (Independent Contractor) - Based on experience Location: On-site in Hilo, Hawaii Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Schedule: 1-2 times a week, 8 hrs per day for clinic, 1-2 times a week for surgery Responsibilities: Surgical first assist with orthopedic surgeon Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits Assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and rehabilitation care Perform joint injections, wound care, and post-operative assessments Collaborate with the physician on surgical cases and care coordination Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Qualifications: Hawaii PA license and NCCPA certification required Experience in orthopedics or related field preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and efficiently Why Join Us: Supportive, small-team environment focused on quality care Opportunity to gain hands-on orthopedic experience To Apply:Please send your CV and a brief cover letter to Job Type: Part-time Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Work Location: In person
