IT Specialist

As a thriving, busy practice, we are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist to manage, maintain, and support our organization's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, security and efficiency while providing technical support to internal users.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networksMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issuesProvide technical support to staff (remote and on-site)Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controlsEnsure data security, backups, and disaster recovery proceduresMaintain IT documentation and asset inventorySupport cloud services, email systems, and collaboration toolsAssist in IT projects and system upgradesRequired QualificationsAssociate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of IT support or systems administration experienceKnowledge of Windows/Mac OS environmentsFamiliarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Experience with Microsoft 365Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsIT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified, etc.)Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)Basic cybersecurity knowledgeExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to work independently and in a teamTime management and multitasking abilityCustomer-service mindsetWork EnvironmentOffice-based in Evansville and will need to travel to Owensboro and Carbondale as needed.May require occasional after-hours supportQualified and interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume in PDF format (no larger than 10MB) to Debbie Linberg at dlinberg@haferdesign.com.J-18808-Ljbffr
