The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload involving divorce, custody, support, and property division, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing case strategies, advising clients on rights and options, and maintaining regular, clear communication with clients and opposing counsel. The role involves negotiating settlements when possible, coordinating with staff to move cases efficiently, and representing clients in hearings, mediations, and other proceedings as needed. The Associate Attorney will also support practice development by upholding firm standards for professionalism, client service, and ethical practice.QualificationsStrong foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience or interest in family law practice.Active license to practice law in Texas, in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a remote workload and multiple deadlines.Experience with family law litigation in Texas courts and familiarity with local rules and practices is preferred.Salary range$135,000 - 195,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
