Full Stack Developer (React / Node.js / Express.js)

Position Title: IT – Node-React Full Stack Web Application Developer Location: Woodlawn, MD Duration: Fulltime Salary: $190,000 - $197,000 / yearly Job Description:To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-14 level, or equivalent, designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale, responsive web applications using React.js, CSS, and JSON. Key Responsibilities & Required Skills: Development: Building and integrating RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js to support enterprise-level web applications. Database Management: Integrating and managing PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases, including writing advanced SQL queries and working with data formats such as JSON and XML. Testing & Quality: Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, including unit and integration testing with React Testing Library (RTL). Tools: Utilizing Git or Bitbucket for version control and collaborating with team members using Visual Studio Code; developing and maintaining API documentation using Swagger UI. Security & Compliance: Implementing authentication and authorization best practices; ensuring web applications are compliant with Section 508 accessibility standards. Production Support: Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems, including resolving production outages by analyzing Splunk logs and Dynatrace. Systems Integration: Integrating Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions into robust, API-driven architectures for real-time connectivity with existing systems. Optimization: Conducting performance analysis and tuning to optimize memory and CPU consumption.
