Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Job Description: Primary Responsibilities:Act as a technical expert on one or more applicationsWork with the Business System Analyst to ensure designs satisfy functional requirementsPartner with Infrastructure to identify and deploy optimal hosting environmentsTune application performance to eliminate and reduce issuesResearch and evaluate technical solutions consistent with DTCC technology standardsAlign risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; advances appropriatelyApply different software development methodologies dependent on project needsContribute expertise to the design of components or individual programs, and participate in the construction and functional testingSupport development teams, testing, fixing, and production supportBuild applications and construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirementsWork with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous deliveryAligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk, advances appropriately REQUIRED SKILLS Qualifications:8-10 years of related experience.Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. Talent needed for success6+ yrs of active development experience/ expertise in Java/J2EE based applications demonstrated ability with Java 17 or aboveStrong backend framework experience - Spring bootExposure to XML/XSD, JSON and similar data presentation componentsFamiliarity with Microservices based architecture and distributed systemsAbility to develop and work with REST APIs using Spring Boot frameworkExperience with CI/CD technologies like GIT, Jenkins, JoCoCo and MavenStrong database and PL/SQL skills (Oracle, snowflake preferred)Experience with Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and Kubernetes, Dockers is desirableFamiliarity with Agile development methodologyExperience with Code coverage, junit5 , Mockito, PowerMockSolid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Additional Qualifications:Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Exposure to full stack development technologies.Background in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.Certifications in cloud, java, Kafka technologies or architecture.
