Job SummaryWe are looking for a Front of house Staff member for David's Mai Lai Wah located in Chinatown, Philadelphia. In this role, you will be responsible for Phone orders, take our orders, and seating. The expectation would be to create a welcoming environment and provide customers with a pleasant experience.Salary Range: $11.50 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience and skillsWe are currently planning on opening our dining room so additional positions, hours, and room for growth are on the table.We currently have shifts open on:Friday: 4PM - 9 PM | 9PM - 2:30 AMSaturday: 4PM - 9 PM | 9PM - 2:30 AMSunday: 6PM - 10PMDutiesTake accurate phone orders, and answer questions that they may have regarding the menuGreet guests upon arrival and show them to their seatsAssist with food preparation tasks as neededMaintain a clean environment in the work spaceUphold food safety standards by handling food properly, adhering to hygiene protocols, and managing dietary restrictions with careCollaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periodsPreferred skills:Experience working in the restaurant industryConversational/fluent in EnglishBeing able to speak chinese is a major plusBenefits:Employee discountFlexible scheduleFood providedWork Location: In person
