Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. Job Summary The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing high-quality meal service to residents, staff, and visitors in a long-term care environment. This position plays an essential role in supporting residents’ health and well-being by preparing and serving meals and beverages in accordance with individual dietary plans and established sanitation and safety standards. Duties include assembling and delivering resident meal trays, assisting residents with meal selections, and ensuring meals are served in a courteous, timely, and sanitary manner. The Dietary Aide also maintains cleanliness in all food service areas and adheres to infection prevention, food safety, and regulatory compliance requirements. Qualifications Minimum age of 16. Prior food service experience in long-term care preferred. Previous customer service experience or knowledge of food service operations is desirable.
