Job SummaryThis role offers the unique chance to join a high-impact Product Development Science and Technology team focused on advancing parenteral drug products. This is an ideal environment for a junior-to-mid-level professional looking to gain deep technical expertise in CMC teams while contributing to the development of both liquid and lyophilized dosage forms.location: North Chicago, Illinoisjob type: Contractsalary: $40.00 - 43.56 per hourwork hours: 9 to 5education: BachelorsResponsibilities Design and execute stability studies evaluating biologics against pH, temperature, and light. Simulate manufacturing stresses including freeze-thaw, mixing, filtration, and filling. Perform bench-top assays using pH meters, SoloVPE, and basic analytical testing. Manage detailed lab notebooks and perform rigorous data manipulation using Excel and graphing tools. Interpret results from multistage experiments and suggest follow-up study designs. Support the tech transfer and scale-up of processes to commercial manufacturing sites.QualificationsRequired Skills: Education: Bachelor's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences with 2-3 years of experience; OR a Master's degree with 0-1 years of experience. Lab Execution: Proven bench experience with pH testing and SoloVPE. Data Proficiency: Strong ability in data interpretation and manipulation using Microsoft Excel. Process Development: Experience supporting parenteral drug product development (liquid or lyophilized). Communication: Demonstrated scientific writing and verbal communication skills.Preferred Skills Mixing/Filling: Experience specifically with mixing and filling study execution. Advanced Modalities: Familiarity with ADCs, LNP (lipid nanoparticles), or peptides. Analytical Techniques: Experience with Karl Fischer titration.
