Accountant

This position will actively participate daily in all aspects of accounting and finance, including but not limited to Treasury, reconciliations, reporting, budgets and projections, all the while finding and implementing cost control measures to enhance profitability.Applicants must be hands on with all accounting functions.Responsibilities:Responsible for the day to day financial operations including: general accounting for the treasury departmentPrepare the company financial statementsAccounts PayablePayroll ProcessingBank Reconciliations, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Financial AnalysisWill be responsible for ACH, Wire transfersOngoing analysis and reporting of financial and operational resultsImprove and Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and proceduresIdentify areas of cost control, revenue and margin generation to help improve bottom line performanceDevelop and communicate key business performance metrics to managementVarious ongoing and special ad-hoc operational and accounting/finance projectsAssist in planning and forecasting the cash management functionsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2 - 4 years of accounting/finance experience requiredMust be detail oriented and have the ability to meet deadlinesExperience in manufacturing/production enterprises preferredExcellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with othersAbility to work individually and as a teamDemonstrated aptitude for utilization of computer technologies. Experience with SAPProficient in MS office suite with a strong knowledge of MS ExcelHighly developed analytical, problem solving, and project management skillsAbility to work under pressure and extended hours and weekends when needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
