Opportunity as a Insert Machine Operator in the direct mail industry, efficiently running production machinery while adhering to industry standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Compensation: $18.00/HourLocation: Springfield, VASchedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00A-5:00PResponsibilities:Operate Insert Machine independently while maintaining optimal production speeds.Monitor processing to quickly detect double mails, misses, or mechanical faults.Perform minor equipment adjustments to ensure consistent, high-quality output.Complete accurate production log sheets and report mechanical issues promptly.Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly follow all safety guidelines.Remain flexible to work occasional overtime as required by production needs.Requirements:Must have direct, hands-on experience in the direct mail industry to be considered.Proven knowledge of USPS regulations specifically for automation mail.High School Diploma/GED with at least six months of related mail shop experience or training (or equivalent combination).Ability to understand and follow basic English commands.Physical capability to stand for the majority of the shift and frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.Strong professional attitude aligned with a collaborative production team culture.
