This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating bag-making equipment used to convert plastic film into finished bags and pouches.ResponsibilitiesSet up, adjust, and operate bag and pouch converting machinesMonitor machine performance to ensure proper sealing, cutting, and product qualityLoad film rolls and adjust machine settings based on production specificationsPerform routine quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standardsTroubleshoot mechanical or production issues and make adjustments as neededMaintain production efficiency while minimizing downtime and wastePerform basic preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean and organizedFollow all safety procedures and production schedulesQualificationsExperience operating bag making, pouch making, or flexible packaging converting equipmentMechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustmentsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to stand for extended periods and handle production materialsPreferred ExperienceExperience with Totani, Hudson-Sharp, CMD, W&H, or similar bag-making machinesBackground in flexible packaging or plastic film converting$20 - $25 an hour
