Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.\nJob Requirements:\n\nEducation and Work Experience:\n\nMaster's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required\n \n\n\nLicenses/Certifications:\n\nSpeech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Preferred\nCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required\n \n\n\nFacility Specific License/Certifications:\n\nBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required\n \n\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nServes as a department role model and clinical resource.\nMaintains and advances professional knowledge and experience through continual educational opportunities.\nAssists in department operations, as requested by managers.\nEnsures patient, visitor and staff safety.
