Position: Full-Time Live-Out Nanny Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-5:30pm ( with some schedule flexibility) 40 hours guaranteed Salary: $30-$40/hour, 2 weeks of PTO, Paid Major Holidays Start Date: June 29th, 2026 Relocation: No - local candidates only About the Family This warm and welcoming family in Greenwich, Connecticut, is seeking a dedicated and nurturing full-time live-out nanny to care for their infant daughter, who will be four months old by end of June. The family values a long-term partnership and hopes to find someone who will grow with their child over the coming years, providing loving and attentive care throughout her early development. The nanny will be an integral part of the family's daily routine, supporting the baby's needs and engaging her during wakeful periods with playtime, outdoor walks, tummy time, and other age-appropriate activities. The household also includes a friendly chocolate Labrador, so comfort around dogs is essential. ResponsibilitiesProviding loving, attentive care to the infant throughout the dayMaintaining baby's feeding, nap, and daily schedule/routinesEngaging in age-appropriate developmental activities including tummy time, walks, reading, and interactive play Perform light baby care tasks, including loading and unloading the bottle washer and managing baby laundry as needed Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment Adapt to occasional schedule changes and remain flexible to stay later if commuting delays occur Providing clear and open communication with the parents regarding daily updates and milestones Ideal Candidate & Personality The ideal candidate is warm, loving, proactive, and highly dependable. The family is looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, values honesty, and genuinely enjoys caring for infants and supporting their development. The nanny should be confident caring for a young infant independently, while also being adaptable, organized, and calm. A long-term mindset is very important to the family, as they hope to establish a lasting relationship with the right person. Requirements: Proven newborn and infant experience, ideally with 5+ years of professional nanny experience Warm, proactive, kind, and genuinely passionate about childcare Strong communication skills with a professional and dependable demeanor Comfortable around dogs Reliable personal transportation and ability to consistently arrive promptly CPR & First Aid Certified Flexible and adaptable with occasional schedule adjustments if needed Interested in a long-term role and becoming an integrated part of the family dynamic Excellent professional references required
