Field Engineer Contract/ Contract to Hire Atlanta, GA Job Description: IT Support Technician (IMAC) Responsible for a broad scope of operational support, including install, move, add, and change (IMAC) requests supporting IT infrastructure across office environments, reservation centers, and airport locations. Ability to deinstall and install IT equipment quickly and safelyExperience with large-scale IMAC moves within tight timeframesAbility to follow test scripts to verify installationsFlexibility to work overnight shifts if requiredAbility to follow instructions and work independently Responsibilities: Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.Produce timely and detailed service reports.Document processes and maintain accurate records.Collect and analyze performance data to provide technical assistance.Align workflow with scheduled timelines.Accurately document solutions related to complex technical issues.Create workaround procedures when standard processes fail and ensure issue resolution.Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to software and setup errors for field engineers, technicians, and customers.Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.Ability to use a ladder as needed. Qualifications: Experience in IT support or related field.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.Experience supporting IMAC activities in enterprise environments preferred.
