Summary Under general supervision, is responsible for supporting Bexar County Information Technology team; will support the mission of the County, ensuring successful delivery of IT services as defined in the duties and responsibilities. This position will represent the County in a professional and effective manner and establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, County employees, Elected/Appointed Officials, outside organizations and agencies, vendors and the general public. Flexibility to achieve performance excellence in a telework arrangement. Duties and Responsibilities Develops and supports Workday Integrations utilizing Cloud Connects, Document Transformations, RAAS Reports, Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB), and Workday Studio. Participates in the maintenance and support of all Workday and ERP system modules and applications. Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Workday Integration solutions using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio. Design, Build, Deploy, Enhance, Maintain solutions in Workday Extend. Automates data import and export and user account modifications for eCIFM TRIRIGA Enterprise Asset management Solution. Modifies existing Appian application eInvoice. (adds user, menu options, modifies or creates workflows) Build supporting documentation for all new integrations; maintain documentation for existing integration modifications. Follow documented development standards, procedures when building, testing, and deploying integrations. Protect and exercise discretion when working with sensitive employee data. Support functional areas with enhancements/modifications to existing integrations. Perform routine testing of all supported integrations twice per year in preparation for the Workday releases. Monitor for Integration Errors and troubleshoot as necessary. Mentor other developers on the team. Continued enhancement of technical skills through formal Workday training and self-learning. Maintains a close working relationship with management of all departments Performs other related technology duties and projects as assigned Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a relevant degree, five (5) or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Must have experience with Workday, SAP, Infor/Lawson, or similar ERP systems is required Must have experience in systems analysis and programming methodologies Highly skilled in analytical and problem solving; good communication and interpersonal skills Ability and willingness to learn new systems and technologies; ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner across functional and technical departments, both verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, stakeholders, County employees, Elected/Appointed Officials, outside organizations and agencies, vendors and the general public. Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance Must clear a pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug screen test Required to be on call 24 hours May be required to work more than 40 hours during the work week May be required to work weekends This position may need to satisfy the requirement of completing and passing an assessment during the employment process Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as computer science, computer information systems, etc. 3-5 years’ of Workday Integration development experience. Advanced knowledge of Workday EIB, Studio, Cloud Connect, and Extend development. Familiarity with Web Services, SOAP, XML, XSLT, REST, JSON, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML a plus. Advanced knowledge of the Appian platform and programming model a plus. SAP experience a plus. Understanding Extend Development is a plus.
