Role Description We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our Owatonna, MN location. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing custom automated equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in project management. Day-to-day tasks may include machine design, creating and reviewing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings, conducting research and development, and ensuring that project timelines and quality standards are met. Qualifications Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design, with the ability to create innovative and efficient solutions for automation systemsExperience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating and reviewing technical drawingsFamiliarity with Research and Development (R&D) processes to develop and improve productsStrong Project Management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverablesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldPrevious experience in manufacturing or automation industries is a plus
