Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc.Tooling TechnicianIndianapolis, IN, United States | req33137 Day shift, 07:00am – 03:30pm, Monday - FridayWhat you will enjoy doing*Develop, implement, and maintain a consumable tooling inventory system across multiple departmentsManage tooling receiving, incoming inspections, storage, organization, and inventory recordsCoordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely tooling procurement and deliveryRead and interpret technical drawings to support tooling requirements and operationsGenerate and process purchase requests for tooling and related supplies across departmentsAdminister tooling disposal activities, including documentation, recordkeeping, and customer communicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast tooling demand based on customer schedules and production needsPromote and maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous operational supportWhat Makes You GreatHigh School Diploma required2+ years experience with support processes/inventory control. Proven relevant experience may be consideredProficiency with MS Office & Oracle/related database softwareYou will have the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks for extended periodsAbility to perform repetitive hand and arm movements while processing, masking, demasking, loading, unloading, inspecting, and packaging customer hardware and materialsAbility to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodationYou will work in a production environment that may include exposure to noise, dust, vibration, heat, cold, and industrial chemicals while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to visually inspect parts, materials, and process conditions to identify defects, damage, contamination, or other nonconforming conditionsAbility to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators, protective clothing, and other PPE as required by the task or work areaWhy you will love working with usLinde Advanced Material Technologies, formerly Praxair Surface Technologies, is a company that revolutionizes industries through innovative materials and surface coatings.
