Senior Controls Engineer

As a Senior Controls Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and building data acquisition and process control systems for chemical processing. This is your chance to contribute to a cleaner, smarter world.Key Responsibilities & Duties:Design and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and control systemsOwn lifecycle of control system design from concept to handoverCollaborate with engineering teams to define system requirementsLead integration efforts for PLC/HMI/SCADA systemsPerform installation, configuration, and site acceptance testingIdentify process optimization opportunitiesProgram and troubleshoot Siemens S7 PLCs and Ignition HMI & SCADADevelop electrical design packages in SolidWorks ElectricalRequired Qualifications & Experience:8+ years of industry experience in controls and data acquisition3+ years of PLC programming experienceAdvanced experience with instrumentation such as voltage and temperatureStrong knowledge of electrical design and industrial power distributionProficiency with industrial automation communication protocolsHigh level programming experience in C/C++/C#, Python, or JavascriptExperience implementing industrial electrical safety programsProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteNice to Have Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related fieldProficiency with Siemens S7, Ignition, SolidWorks Electrical, and SQL databasesExperience in chemical processing or industrial manufacturingExperience with control panel design per UL 508APerks & Benefits: 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insuranceVoluntary and Long-term disability insurancePaid time off, 401k, and holiday payWeekly direct deposit or pay card depositIf you are interested in learning more about the Senior Controls Engineer opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
