The Immunology/Immunosafety group in the Department of Local Delivery Translational Sciences is seeking an Associate Scientist I, Immunology. Responsibilities Perform cell‑based assays and ligand binding assays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex) Develop, validate, transfer, and troubleshoot immunoassays and cell‑based assays to support biologic therapeutics portfolio Order lab supplies and experimental materials; maintain lab instruments Other job assignments as needed Act proactively, inquisitively, and as a self‑starter in a fast‑paced environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in biological sciences (e.g., Immunology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or related field) and preferably one year of industry experience Hands‑on laboratory experience in cell culture, flow cytometry assays, basic immunology assays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex), and primary cell isolation and culture Knowledge of basic cell biology, immunology, or pharmacology Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to manage multiple activities and meet tight deadlines Proven ability to maintain excellent working relationships and commitment to integrity and accountability California Fair Chance Act Synectics Inc. will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act.
