Patient Accounts Specialist II

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Specialist II - Physicians Billing. Key Responsibilities Perform accounts receivable follow-up and collection procedures for timely reimbursement from third-party carriers Assist in creating and implementing training materials for team development and planning work activities Investigate and resolve insurance claim rejections while maintaining productive relationships with payer representatives Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 4 years of experience in hospital/physician patient accounts or equivalent experience required Proficiency in using automated billing systems, specifically GE IDX and ETM Knowledge of billing and collection laws, hospital protocols, and third-party claims Ability to lead, monitor daily activities, and evaluate team performance
