Senior Resident Engineer

Senior Resident Engineer We're looking for a Resident Engineer to supervise the planning, coordination and implementation of construction and transportation projects. This position is the quality assurance of the methods of construction including the materials incorporated. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to bring innovation, collaboration and technological advancement to assist our client's in delivering complex projects. ResponsibilitiesThe Resident Engineer will oversee contract administration, construction inspection and public outreach staff while reporting to the Project ManagerSchedule inspections and coordinate testing and inspection activities performed by others, including specialty inspections and other agencies.Resolve construction management issuesMonitor construction contract compliance, schedules, and budgetsReview of contractor submittals (schedule, shop drawings, design calculations, catalogue cuts, etc.)Record accidents, property damage and unusual conditions and all utility interferences and crossings.Report potential or developing conditions which may lead to extra work, claims, or which may in any way impact the community, the public, or property. Key requirements:Bachelor's degree (B.
