Warehouse Lead- Receiving

Job Summary: The Receiving Lead oversees all receiving areas of the manufacturing facility and is responsible for ensuring that products are received in a timely manner, inventory accuracy and all employees within the receiving department are trained properly.Essential Functions and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions if it does not create an undue hardship for the department/company.Leads the daily schedule for all productionEnsures that all employees are properly trained Operates forklift equipment safely and efficiently to receive, handle, and store product in accordance with HACCP and GMP standardsUtilizes the scanning system to create accurate locations and perform accurate inventory transactionsUtilizes D365 to receive materials and move product between warehousesInspects inbound materials and products for damages, defects, and discrepancies; Promptly reports any issues to Quality and LeadershipCollaborates daily with Production Departments to ensure all materials are staged and ready to meet production schedule; Monitors production schedule changes and coordinates material changes as neededConducts daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of the receiving areas Investigates and corrects all inventory discrepancies Performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
