Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionWe’re seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team and support a busy, high-quality coverage practice. You’ll work on first-party coverage disputes and related matters, including declaratory judgment actions and coverage analysis, with opportunities to take meaningful ownership while working closely with experienced attorneys.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle insurance coverage litigation matters in Georgia state and federal courtsDraft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discoveryConduct and defend depositions; support witness preparationParticipate in mediations and support settlement strategy/negotiationsPerform legal research and provide strategic legal analysisAssist with coverage opinions and declaratory judgment actionsManage multiple active files, deadlines, and client communications in a fast-paced environmentCollaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys while taking ownership of assigned mattersQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolMust be admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing2+ years of attorney experience strongly preferredSome insurance coverage experience (coverage analysis, coverage disputes, DJ actions, coverage opinions, bad faith exposure, or related work)Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skillsExcellent organization, judgment, and ability to manage deadlines independentlyWhy You Will Love Working HereYou’ll join a collaborative team that takes pride in doing excellent work and treating people well.
