Customer Service Representative - Shipping and Receiving
Position SummaryAs a staff level position in the Supply Chain department, the Shipping &Receiving Customer Service Representative will monitor shipment transactions and track warehouse inventory by handling unit using SAP. The Shipping & Receiving Customer Service Representative will prepare reports and collaborate with other departments within but not limited to Supply ChainEssential Job FunctionsMonitor imports, inbound and outbound orders; track product progress; reconcile data with SAP; review and track warehouse inventory and handling unit(s); ensure accurate inventory; coordinate overages, shortages and damage claims from final customers and CEDIs; resolve order and product issues. Prepare and generate product reports and claim(s); track requests, request hold releases and communicate product status; process withdrawals or recalls as needed to support QA Work with Product Management to ensure loads are being handled timely by contracted warehouses Provide Bill of Lading as needed to internal customersCoordinate product sample and Point of Purchase (POP) deliveries in collaboration with external vendorsRequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Four (4) years' experience in inventory managementExperience in enterprise WMS and/or SAPPreferred QualificationsExperience in CPG food industryFour (4) years' Warehousing experience Bilingual fluency in school English and Spanish reading, writing & speakingKnowledge, Skills & Abilitites Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Must demonstrate strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamProven organization skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment while presenting a professional demeanor.
