This position reports to the Project Manager.The SOCC Officer shall provide security and protective service in accordance with the client's corporate policies and security and crisis management plans and procedures, which may include, but are not limited to the following general tasks:Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and visitorsAnswer and triage incoming emergency and non-emergency phone linesServe as the primary point of contact for all communications during an incidentServe as the communication hub during emergencies, maintaining situational awareness and relaying information to field personnel and managementNotify appropriate personnel (management, tenants, facilities) per post orders during incidents or system activationsMaintain accurate Communications Center logs, including all calls for service, dispatched units, and outcomesAdhere to all escalation matrices and notification trees as outlined in post ordersAccess control and physical security principlesOperation of intrusion alarms, production, and fire detection equipment as well as video surveillance equipment operationAccurate communication of security information and proceduresOperation of entry and egress access control equipmentRoving foot patrols of interior and exterior building areasIdentification badge process productionProduction of complete and detailed security incident and daily operating reportsMonitoring and responding to intrusion detection systemsResponding, as necessary, to support other life safety duties as identified in post orders and standard operating proceduresAny other activity as requested by Supervisor/Project Manager.Required Qualifications:Ability to complete state Security Officer certification, including the DPS online application process, fingerprints, and background investigationMust have reliable transportation during all seasonsMust fluently speak, read, comprehend, and write in EnglishMust have High School diploma or GEDAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and periodic random drug screeningU.S. CitizenshipPreferred Qualifications:Current Texas Non-Commissioned Security Officer LicenseSecurity, military, or law enforcement experienceDemonstrated history of safe and successful security operations experience in highly secure facilitiesPhysical Requirements:This position requires lifting, standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday; with some workdays being up to 12 hours.Patriot Group International Inc. is a global mission support service provider with expeditionary capabilities, providing services to select clients within the intelligence, defense, and private sectors.
