Job Title: Quality Assurance ManagerLocation: Haverhill, MA | OnsiteJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee quality and compliance functions within an aerospace manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AS9100 standards, NADCAP certifications, supplier and customer quality compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies. Candidates with Six Sigma certification and prior aerospace industry experience are highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the organization’s Quality Management System, serving as the AS9100 Management Representative.Oversee internal audits, supplier quality, calibration, NDT, continuous improvement initiatives, and HS&E compliance.Drive quality improvements using Six Sigma methodologies and DMAIC processes to reduce non-conformances and improve operational performance.Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and preventive actions through 8D (AESQ 13000) methodologies.Manage customer quality concerns, complaints, and continuous improvement projects.Ensure effective gauge control, calibration management, and compliance processes.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to maintain and improve quality standards.Utilize quality tools and statistical methods to support process improvements and manufacturing excellence.Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required.5+ years of experience in a quality leadership role, preferably within the aerospace manufacturing industry.Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred.Strong knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, supplier quality, and regulatory compliance requirements.Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), blueprint reading, and technical drawing interpretation.Experience with SPC, PFMEA, root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality management tools.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Minitab.Strong leadership, communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills.Ability to influence cross-functional teams and work effectively with minimal supervision.Experience in supplier rationalization and total cost of ownership strategies is a plus.
