This role is an Axle Housing Design Engineer in the Drivetrain Castings Component Team. Tasks will be directed by a Senior Engineer on the team and include concept modeling, stress & life analysis, assessing part nonconformance risk, amongst others.Typical task breakdown:* Concept design and part modeling using Creo.* Stress & life analysisEducation & Experience Required:* BS in Mechanical Engineering* 2-4 years of relevant work experienceTechnical SkillsProficient in CreoUnderstands basic geometric tolerancingProficient in Creo Simulate FEAExperience in steel or iron casting designAPQP knowledgePractical / hands-on experienceStrong mechanical aptitudeBelcan is an equal opportunity employer.
