EHS Coordinator

*Description:* *Shift: Monday - Friday (Days)* *EHS Coordinator* During your shift as an EHS Coordinator, you will… * Assist EHS Specialist with the development, maintenance, and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives. * Participate in the investigation of incidents, near misses, and property damage incidents. * Ensure follow-up is done to minimize future exposure and proper records/documents are maintained. * Assist in routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, company environmental, health and safety positions, procedures, and practices. * Assist with data analysis using the global EHS data management system. * Analyze existing key performance indicators (KPI) * Assist EHS Specialist in developing communication strategies and tactics to foster a Zero Incident mindset and behaviors across the site. * Have Contractor Oversight including the administration of Contractor EHS Orientations, issuance of the BASF Work permits, and ensuring sign-in/sign-out of contractors. *Requirements:* * BS in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (preferred) * 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing environment with responsibility for Environmental, Health and Safety * Proficiency in PC skills including Microsoft Office applications * The ability to prioritize requests effectively and understand importance and meet deadlines * Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail and organizational abilities * Analytical/problem solving skills, both written and verbal communications * Experience working with local regulatory agencies preferred. *\*\*\*Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
