Job DescriptionNon-CDL DriverReports to: Facility Manager or Transportation ManagerClassification: Non-ExemptSUMMARYThe Driver plays a key role in the success of our business. The successful individual will be able to safely and efficiently complete customer collection routes with varying schedules and deadlines. This individual will interact with customers, employees, members of senior management, and regulatory representatives. Drivers must follow all safety and compliance regulations. In every case, this individual must present themselves with the professionalism and discretion appropriate for each interactive situation.Drivers are equipped with a convertible hand truck to dolly heavier or multiple containers from the generator's storage to our vehicle for transport.Trilogy offers Competitive pay plus incentives with paid-time off and amazing benefits, including access to medical, dental, vision insurance, company-paid life and disability, 401(k) savings plan with company match, and other wellness offerings. Compensation is negotiable and based on experience.Pay Rate : $24.50 per hourPRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESCollect containers from health care officesDrive vehicle to customer location along determined route collecting material for delivery to designated locationReport for and successfully complete all training as requiredPrepare and report pre & post trip inspectionsMaintain Driver's Hours of Service Log as requiredReview and sign manifests and shipping papersProvide customer training (manifesting, packaging, etc)Properly label, load and secure materials for transportClean, wash and refuel vehicle as neededOther tasks and responsibilities as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSMust have a good driving record within 3 years; no accident reportedMust have excellent customer service skills with other employees, customers and regulatorsMust understand how to use computer for data entryMust be able to use software app on mobile phone for manifest documentationExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsQuickly adapt to changing business demandsQuickly grasp and adapt to new tasks, software and protocolsMust meet all applicable DOT and licensing requirementsLicensed for vehicle to be driven (min. Class C); Class A or Class B license also acceptableMust be able to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner's Card (MEC)EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK* Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule* Additional hours as job duties demandTRAVEL - OTHERTravel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%)Must have a current, valid driver's licenseAble to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policyWORK CONDITIONSPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
