Vice President, Accounting and Finance

Having achieved meaningful scale and profitability, we are entering the next phase of growth, including organic and inorganic growth, and investing in building a best-in-class finance organization.We are seeking a VP, Accounting to own and scale the finance and accounting function, partnering closely with the CFO and executive team to help drive financial strategy, operational rigor, and capital efficiency. What You’ll DoScale the Finance Function: Build and evolve accounting, payroll, FP&A, and tax capabilitiesDesign Financial Infrastructure: Implement scalable systems, processes, and controls to support a fast growing, world-wide business with proven success building or transforming accounting processes, payroll systems and controls in a dynamic or scaling organizationPartner with the Business: Provide financial insight across GTM, product, and operational decisionsSupport Financial Strategy: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning to support continued growth and capital efficiencySupport Capital Strategy: Partner with the CFO on investor reporting, Board materials, and financing initiativesDrive Operational Discipline: Establish KPI dashboards, and reporting cadence across key SaaS metricsEnsure Compliance & Controls: Oversee audits, accounting standards, and internal controlsBuild & Lead the Team: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing and efficient finance organizationWho You AreA hands-on accounting and finance leader who thrives in building and scaling in high-growth environmentsA strategic and hands on operator who can move between detailed execution and executive-level thinkingA strong business partner with the ability to influence cross-functional leadersComfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high expectationsWhat You Bring10+ years of finance experience5+ years in senior leadershipExperience scaling B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or infrastructure companies (Series B–D)Deep expertise in Accounting, Payroll, FP&A, financial modeling, and SaaS metricsStrong accounting foundation and experience building accounting and finance infrastructureLead and oversee all core accounting operations across our U.S. and worldwide entities, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and the monthly and annual close processes.Build and optimize scalable accounting infrastructure, internal controls, and financial workflows that can support rapid growthDrive operational excellence and a high-performance cultureOwn finance systems initiatives, including ERP implementations, integrations, and process automation projects, acting as the key accounting stakeholder throughoutPrepare and deliver accurate, audit-ready financial reporting packages to support Board updates, investor diligence, and fundraising activitiesExposure to investor relations, Board reporting, and capital strategyProven ability to build and lead high-performing teamsActive CPA license preferred but not requiredBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineWhy This RoleOpportunity to build and shape the finance function at a critical inflection pointDirect exposure to CFO, Board, and investorsHigh level of ownership and influence on company trajectoryOperate within a scaled yet still evolving businessNOTE: This role is located in San Francisco and is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in our San Francisco office.
