Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Travel OBGYN Registered Nurse (RN)Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)Location: Petoskey, MIWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate OBGYN Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology to join our team for a rewarding travel nursing contract. As an OBGYN RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to women throughout their reproductive health journey, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care to women in the labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecology settings.Assist in routine and high-risk obstetrical deliveries, as well as gynecological exams and procedures.Monitor maternal and fetal status, including vital signs and fetal heart rate.Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management as prescribed by physicians.Offer support and guidance to patients and their families throughout pregnancy, labor, and recovery.Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to provide high-quality care.Assist in patient education on prenatal care, postpartum recovery, contraception, and other gynecological topics.Respond quickly to emergencies or complications in labor and delivery situations.Qualifications:Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.Minimum 2 years of experience working in obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) nursing.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.Experience with high-risk pregnancy and/or labor and delivery preferred.Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Strong communication skills and compassionate patient care approach.Benefits for Travel Nurses with SkyBridge Healthcare:Competitive pay rates and travel stipends.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options.Travel reimbursement and weekly direct deposit.24/7 support from your recruiter and clinical team.Referral bonuses and other incentives.Whether you're looking for your next adventure in a new city or a new challenge in your nursing career, this is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of women while exploring new locations.
