Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Funeral Director based in Chardon, OH. The Funeral Director will oversee all aspects of funeral planning, including coordinating and conducting funeral and memorial services, liaising with families to provide compassionate and professional support, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities will also include embalming, managing funeral home operations, and assisting families with pre-arrangement and service decisions. Qualifications Expertise in Embalming and experience in managing Funeral HomesDemonstrated skills in Family Services and providing empathetic support to grieving individualsStrong Communication and Customer Service skills to connect with families and manage service detailsKnowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to funeral servicesAbility to work collaboratively with a team and handle high-stress situationsValid licensing for funeral directing and embalming in the state of OhioAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science or a related field
