Make Your Mark:Engagement Managers build great client relationships during the pre-sales and delivery process, and guide customers to project success. They assess the customers' needs and develop plans to achieve them. Engagement managers are responsible for planning, managing and completing a successful BlackLine implementation. This position involves assessing situations, assigning tasks to team members and problem-solving when issues arise. You'll Get To: Manage customers, partners and internal stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for both customers and BlackLineWork with the internal teams during the presales process to assessing and approve level of effort, products and solutions involved, and timing of projectsManage the relationship with the customer and partner teams throughout the engagement and serve as main point of contact between customer/partner and BlackLine teamsDevelop a delivery strategy for large scale partner implementation projectsCreate customer project plans complete with budgetary information and resource needsProvide leadership to the project team by building and motivating resources to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestonesDefine project success criteria and communicate them to all stakeholdersProvide status updates cross-organizationTrack and report project financials against estimate; resolve budget issues as they ariseManage project scope, timeline and budget changesEnsure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standardsIdentify, manage and mitigate project riskAct as the escalation point when issues arise with the customer or partner on engagementsIdentify potential upsells to increase revenue and build brand awarenessComplete other projects duties as assigned What You'll Bring: At least 3 years of experience in Engagement Management, Project Management, Consulting Services, or Professional Services environmentBachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencePrevious project management experience in a revenue driven environment (e.g. Time and materials billing)Demonstrated successful completion of complex enterprise-level client implementation projectsProven experience to balance multiple projects at any given time and stay on top of all detailsDemonstrated experience communicating and presenting to a diverse set of people across groups and organizational levelsExperience in SaaS industry and/or Software, as well as issues related to installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support.Experience with large scale ERP systems including SAP and OracleAdvanced Knowledge/experience in Accounting, Audits, Financial Services, Software Technology, SaaS industry and/or related experienceExcellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detailEffective problem-solving and conflict resolutions skillsAbility to deliver world-class service and high-impact results while navigating challenging situationsAbility to manage self and others under pressure and time-sensitive deadlinesAbility to facilitate and harness cross-team collaboration working with teams in-person and virtually We’re Even More Excited If You Have: Domain experience with Invoice-to-Cash, Collections Management, eInvoicing and Payments 2 years of experience in the audit/accounting industryPMP certificationCustomer-oriented approachSharp business acumenExcellent verbal and written communication abilities Thrive at BlackLine Because You Are Joining: A technology-based company with a sense of adventure and a vision for the future. Candidates who live within a reasonable commute to one of our offices will work in the office at least 3 days a week. Salary Range: USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $138,000.00/Yr. Pay Transparency Statement: Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location.In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring candidates have clear information about compensation expectations.
