Project Manager – Commercial Drywall Union ContractorA union commercial drywall contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee drywall and interior systems projects from preconstruction through closeout.This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial drywall and metal framing, who can manage multiple projects while coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery.The company offers a collaborative environment with a steady pipeline of commercial interior projects, providing long-term stability and growth.Location: Concord, CAResponsibilitiesManage commercial drywall and interior systems projects from preconstruction through completionReview contracts, drawings, and specifications to fully understand project scopeCoordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clientsDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurementTrack and manage RFIs, submittals, and change ordersMonitor project progress to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budgetCoordinate labor, materials, and equipment with field teamsAttend project meetings and maintain communication with stakeholdersEnsure compliance with union requirements and project specificationsManage multiple projects simultaneouslyRequirements3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial drywall constructionExperience with Division 9 scopes, including drywall and metal framingExperience working with or within a union contractor environment preferredAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExperience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractorsStrong leadership, organization, and communication skillsCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $125,000 – $160,000 base (depending on experience)Benefits include:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time offBonus opportunitiesKeywords: Project Manager, drywall, Division 9, union contractor, commercial interiors, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, construction project manager, interiors contractor
