With 850+ global consultants, VARITE is committed to delivering excellence to its customers by leveraging its global experience and expertise in providing comprehensive scientific, engineering, technical, and non-technical staff augmentation and talent acquisition services.Job Title: Mobile QA EngineerLocation: Englewood, NJDuration: ContractRate: $47/hr. on W2Rate – 50/hr. on C2CJob Description:Provide high-level test effort estimateCreate detailed and well-structured test plans and test casesSet up a test harness to test functionalityAutomation feasibility study, development & maintenance of API, functional, integration and load/performance scripts across platformsBuild, deploy application & conduct manual and automated testing as per defined processReport and follow up of defects found until closureAnalyze logs in order to understand the root causes of issuesParticipate in agile - standups, planning sessions and retrospectivesPerform automated nightly application regression & performance testFunctional/Integration/Production testing by leveraging CI/CD PipelineWork both independently and in close collaboration with others in the team and across the business to achieve quality & performance engineering goalsBring the quality consciousness, test leadership and customer advocacyCreate and maintain HOWTOs and other materials for quality & performance engineering teamKnowledge Management/Retention - Cross training & documentationActively coach/mentor quality engineersPublish KPIs & metrics, ensure process complianceOnsite - Offshore co-ordination, as requiredQualification:B.S degree or higher in computer science or related education5+ yrs. of experience in software engineering - QE testing3+ yrs. of experience in testing mobile apps, ads, metrics, video players (live/on-demand) & streaming media content on iOS & Android platforms3+ yrs. of experience in software engineering - QE automationMust be proficient in Java, TypeScriptMust have experience implementing automation frameworks - (Selenium WebDriver/Appium/TestNG/Junit/Playwright)Must have experience with performance testing tools to measure server & client-side metricsAny experience in software engineering - Security testingMust have experience using Version control (GIT), SQL, CI/CD Tools (Jenkins), Build Tools (Maven, ANT, etc), Debugging Tools (Charles/Fiddler), Monitoring tools (New Relic), Agile Management Tool (JIRA), Test Management Tool (TestRail)Any certification related to QE/Process/Automation/Performance Test/SecurityBenefits:We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, well-being, and financial security of our employees and their families.
