We are looking for a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist PRN like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you are responsible for direct and indirect patient care, scrubbing for diagnostic/interventional cases and hemodynamic monitoring. You will assist in ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, cost efficiency, providing appropriate information towards future needs and actively supports process improvement within the department.* You will scrub diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures* You will monitor and document procedure in the hemodynamic system* You will educate patients and family members regarding the technical aspects of the procedure* You will assist in ordering supplies/maintaining inventoryJob RequirementsExperience* Cath Lab/Special Procedures Lab experience - RequiredEducation* High School Diploma – Required* Associate degree or above – Preferred* Current Enrollment in an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program – PreferredLicenses and Certifications* BLS Certification as per St. David’s Healthcare policy* ACLS Certification as per St. David’s Healthcare policy – Required within 6 months* RCIS, or RCES, or RT ( R ) license from an accrediting body – Required within 12 monthsSt. David's Medical Center stands as a leading 435-bed facility, offering specialized care in neurology, neurosurgery, cardiac services, bariatric surgery, orthopedics, maternity and newborn services, and rehabilitation.
