Availability requirements: 4 week availability each month, with 4 days of availability each week- must be able to work for at least 6 month initial contract Hospital is looking for locum coverage in Medical Oncology. JOB DETAILS: Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center Reason for Coverage: Loss of provider Call Schedule: No call during locum period; call expected if placed perm; call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks Call Ratio: No call during locum period; call expected if placed perm; call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Internal Medicine %: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology, 0% internal medicine Number of Physicians in Practice: 7 How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 6 Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT: 25 Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding): 20 Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Inpatient Setting Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): N/A Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Required Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board, Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes. Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 Days Submission Requirements Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - REQUIRED Active SC license(will accept providers needing to obtain a state license) - REQUIRED BLS & DEA - REQUIRED Clean background required for Emergency temps - REQUIRED Current NPDB required for presentation Trio - REQUIRED
